AUDITIONS
The Jazz Honor Choir is open to soprano, alto, tenor, and bass singers in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12.

Singers may only audition for ONE voice part.

Singers who audition for the Jazz Honor Choir may also audition for the SA Honor Choir, TB Honor Choir or SATB Honor Choir, but may only audition for one voice part per choir. If accepted to both choirs, they must choose which one to participate in.

New in 2022: the Jazz Honor Choir will no longer accept students to audition for the rhythm section.
Audition Procedures
Directors of applicants will submit auditions via Submittable. Directors must be an ACDA member with a valid ACDA member in order to submit their singer’s audition.
All audition fees are waived for the 2022 conference; the 2022 audition fee is free.
Audition Timeline
Due to the logistics, these dates are non-negotiable. All deadlines must be met to participate in an honor choir.

Auditions are open.
Auditions close. No applications will be considered after 11:59pm on this date.
Accepted singers will be notified.
Online registration is DUE for all accepted singers.
Non-refundable registration fee must be paid online.
All forms must be completed and submitted.
All Honor Choir members must have reserved rooms in Davenport Grand or Historic Davenport Hotels. Tell them that you are with NW ACDA HONOR CHOIRS.
REGISTRATION FEE
The cost to participate in the Jazz Honor Choir is $185. This $185 fee covers the cost of sheet music, guest instrumentalists, rehearsal recordings, t-shirts, an evening social event, a sound technician, an extraordinary rhythm section, and a world-renowned guest conductor.

The registration fee for accepted singers must be paid by December 1, 2021 and is absolutely NON-REFUNDABLE.

NORTHWEST ACDA HONOR CHOIRS COVID-19 STATEMENT
Northwest ACDA will ensure the health and safety of all participants and performers with procedures that adhere to guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, the Washington Department of Health, and the Spokane Regional Health District. We will communicate openly and regularly with updates and procedures.
